Outage Map – How itWorks - The outage maps use color-coded symbols that indicate thenumber and general location of customers without service. - TheLegend button provides an overview of the color-coded outagesymbols. - The Summary button provides additional information bycounty and zip code in an easy to read table format. Data can besorted numerically or alphabetically by clicking on a column title.- Selecting the color-coded symbol on the map will provide specificoutage information, including: - The number of customers affected -The time of the earliest outage report - The estimated restorationtime - The cause of the outage (if known)

Users are also able to register to receive notificationsinthe event their account is part of a power outage. Customerswillhave a quick access link to their ‘My Account’ informationwherebilling and payment options are available. Other featuresincludethe ability for any user to contact us through a direct diallinkto our Contact Center along with access to follow ourlatestTweets, Facebook posts, YouTube videos, and news updates allfromthe app’s home screen.Features:• Report Power Outages/Check Outage Status - With the entryofsome simple information to identify your account, the app makesiteasy to report power outages and check power status foryourelectric account.• View Outage Map - The app can also be used to viewNPPD’soutage map. Under normal conditions, the map shows areascurrentlyaffected by an outage, the number of customers affected,crewstatus, and the estimated time of restoration asinformationbecomes available. When widespread outages occur or whenweather isexpected to cause power outages, NPPD may also displayinformationon the Home page of the app or distribute news releaseswhich areaccessible from the app.• My Account - Our app provides one-touch access to your‘MyAccount’ login screen. ‘My Account’ allows users to seetheirelectric consumption, billing history, and to obtain copiesofbills. You can also sign up for paperless billing and haveyourmonthly payments be taken directly out of your checking orsavingsaccount or have access to pay with a debit or creditcard.• Alerts-Sign up to receive a notification on your mobiledevicewhen your account is part of a power outage.
